Wow, No Time for Photos?????????

It was our first class tonight so we were very busy...and I didn't get a chance to take photos!!!

BUT tomorrow I have a callback for US Bank, a meeting with a friend from highschool for tax help, lunch at one of my favorite restaurants, and a fishtank cleaning for Persephone...so both my apartment and Persephone's tank will be clean enough for me to take photos...

AND you'll also see my photos of my highschool friend Kristin, the place I go to audition for commercials, and one of my favorite restaurants in Los Angeles...with possibly some photos of my CVS and/or Target thrown in there, who knows? Big Day tomorrow!!!

Headache!!!

I think it might be my sinuses...but it threw me off schedule yesterday, soooo no 2nd posting on Sunday like I said, sorry:-(

Tonight I start a class about money with some friends of mine so I will be sure to take pictures and post when I get home at midnight!

My Playdate with Ben!

I skipped my exercise class today because I was lazy...but I made it to my Saturday playdate with Ben...we napped, walked around the neighborhood, and watched cartoons while his Mom & Dad went to the movies!!!

This is one of my best friends, Randal, with his son (my godson) Ben...Ben is teething and in alot of pain so no smiles today...poor baby:-(

Randal and I met 12 years ago in New York City. None of you kids were born when Auntie Beth was in NYC but I lived there for 7 whole years!

This is Ben & his Mom, Lurene...Lurene is gorgeous...before she had Ben, Lurene hadn't been around any babies...can you believe that? Randal and Lurene both grew up in Montana, so they go back to visit Montana like I come back to visit Connecticut.

Ben was fascinated with books tonight...it was the only time he stopped feeling miserable so Dad kept reading to him:-)

I'm almost 15 minutes past midnight so I did not write on Saturday...but I will write again on Sunday so there will be 2 posts for today!!!

My Friday...

This is my friend Joe. We met about 5 1/2 years ago-gosh, times flies! We usually chat a few times a month and today was one of those days. Joe is great:-)

Although I took off the other fingernail polish because it was cracking, my butterflies are still perfect, Molly...we are at 34 days now...see how much I like to be reminded of you????

Auntie Beth does not cook. I already had many great qualities, so I decided cooking did not need to be one of them.

Subway on Fairfax & Santa Monica Blvd is my hangout, a mere 8 blocks away from my apartment. This is George who's usually working when I come in for lunch...almost everyday...
Let me repeat, I do not cook!

My Sponsored Child in Sierra Leone, Auditions Galore

This is Bamba. He lives in Sierra Leone (ok ladies, get out your maps) and I send him money every month so he can get food, clean water, school supplies, clothing and new seeds for his family to plant on their small farm. Bamba just turned 10 years old on July 11th, and he has 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Auntie Beth had 3 AUDITIONS today so there was not much time to take photos. I auditioned for Nintendo, Manwich Sloppy Joes, and US Bank...I had zero auditions for 3 weeks, then 3 auditions in one day! Lucky Girl:-)

I love you so much!!!

I Think I'll Go for a Drive Outside...

Hello, My LoveBugs:-P

I remembered to put the captions UNDER the photos this time...and I kept my wordy words to a minimum, at least for me...

This is my car, Emmy...Auntie Meg named her...I got her in CT exactly one month before Peter was born, and then I drove her across the country to CA. We are inseparable & she is perfect:-)

This is a very famous road in West Hollywood which we just call Melrose...Auntie Meg & KK love it because it's all about shopping for clothes!!!!

This is my post office. I am at this place far too often because I have to mail out tax letters and my penpal responses...hint hint hint!

See, Kids! I really am in Los Angeles:-)

and here is the longggggg line at my post office...makes me miss the small town post offices of Cromwell & Rocky Hill, CT!

Last but not least, this is my postal buddy Allen. About 4 years ago we chatted at his window and became fast friends. Now I always wait for Allen to help me even if someone else is available.

Lots of L.A. Livin'...

This is the front of my apartment building. I have lived in this building since my very first day in CA on August 5, 2000...just 6 days before Peter was born:-)


This is the view when I'm walking down the stairs to leave my building everyday.

This is the side of my building, so I can point out my exact apartment window...I'm on the top floor, the very last window all the way at the end on the left side of the photo...there is a palm tree sticking out right above my apartment window...

This is my view when I get back from working & I climb the stairs toward home everyday.

But first I must punch in a security code to open the door....gotta be safe! Who is that girl in the reflection of the glass? :-)

Then I stop at the mailboxes to collect my day's mail. This is where penpal letters are delivered...hint hint hint hint.

If we head up the stairs and around the bend...

I'm home!!!!

We open the door...and even though it's not clean enough yet, I'll give you a quick peek...

the kitchen entrance is in the far right corner, behind the purple lamp...Above the blue couch on the right of the above photo is this flower mural I based the colors of the room on...the door with all the light to the right of my head is the bathroom...and right next to that would be my bedroom door....but I gotta save that for later, when it's clean clean clean:-P

Trying to get more of the flower portraiture into frame...surprisingly hard to do when you are in the photo and holding the camera...but I'm getting better at it...

I already have more photos for tomorrow...and I may even put them online tonight after midnight....

As for my day today, I did alot of taxes and it felt good to get them done!
